Bme Blackpool International Airport Ltd will be rebranding as part of the developments taking place, Along with a new terminal and cargo centre, the finish date for this is to be Feburary 2010 as part of out 2nd Birthday. New airlines will be operating brand new routes all over the world. However in order to improve are destinations and air movements both BME and CNI have agreed to cut all flight between BME and CNI.

Hello and welcome to the brand new offical web site for Bme Blackpool International Airport, in the North West of England on Blackpool and the Fylde coast. Over the past few months all departments have been working together in order to meet the deadline for the new airport, our teams have been working around the clock in order to put Bme Blackpool back in to the race of the North West Best airport and the UK's Airport of the Year. We fully understand what the very best airport experience means to our passengers, thats why we are investing heavily in transforming our terminals in to state of the art airline hubs.
Bme Blackpool and Virgin Atlantic Airways have been working together in order to complete the brand new terminal one on time, this will see all Virgin Atlantic operations being transferred over to a state of the art terminal with 12 service aircraft stands, 100 checkin desks, bag drops, 3 airline louges, full range of duty free shops in open space departure louge.
The airport has also been working with the 'OneWorld' alliance which includes the worls top airlines such as American Airlines, British Airways and Qantas. All three offer great links from Bme Blackpool to all connors of the world. At the present time only three airlines will operate from Terminal two with one extra at Christmas times with Finnair for Lapland flights. The airport are in contact with Finnair over a possiable link to Finland, more detail on location and flight time will follow up. We would like to inform passengers that there might be a sight chance of a non one world alliance member using terminal two aircraft services.

Virgin Atlantic Michael J Jackson Flight - His music will live on forever
Passengers comment on the flight in memory of the late legendary king of pop, Michael J Jackson. VS707 tock mourning fans to Las Vagas (LAX) in time fore the service at the Staples Centre, On board was options to watch the king in his music tours. Also tracks set up so fan could listen via head phones. Special tickets were made for the flights as a gift to the fans. The aircraft set off with no delays and arrived at LAX ontime, the flight return two days later. Passengers who were on the flight comment on VS707.
James McJohnlee said "Every thing about it was great, the staff was the best you could dream of. The inflight services Virgin had on offer at such short notice was better than it sounded. The only thing bad was the subject of the flight"
Karen Smith says "I got on the last tickets and it was worth every penney. I was even lucky enough to get a ticket for the Staples Centre. I would like to that every one at Bme Blackpool and Virgin Atlantic making a very sad time the best it could be. Thank-you."
